Triptych is the working title of a Savannah College of Art and Design undergraduate student film that is still in the process of development.

About

The themes of the stories and film touch on elements of human interaction. The films do not contain dialogue. The stories are extremely visual and characters, without dialogue, will convey personality through their actions and expressions. We decided on this to challenge ourselves as artists and filmmakers and also liked the idea of creating something that is not tied down to a single language, but can be viewed equally by different communities around the world.

The Concept

The film will consist of three separate short stories that tie together by their mood, feel of mystery, and fantastical nature. They resulted from initial photographic and video experimentation that led us to want to use the merits of the medium of fictional narrative filmmaking, in order to convey more intensely our concepts. The intent is to create a dialogue with the audience and our peers, which can be continued long after viewing the film. Movies, poetry, novels, and stories in general can convey so much and leave more to be explored afterwards. What inspires us is how an individual viewer's background becomes a lens that adds an additional dimension to the film.

The project is currently in Production.

We aim to submit this film to national and international film festivals.
